About DPV

DPV Deutscher Pressevertrieb GmbH, a 100% subsidiary of Gruner + Jahr AG & Co. KG, is a Hamburg based company. DPV distributes press products of all kinds in Germany and abroad.

DPV was founded in 2006 as a consequence of the reorganisation of Gruner + Jahr's distributional activities and departments under one roof. The main reason was that Gruner + Jahr performed sales services in a continously growing extent for many friendly publishing houses like DIE ZEIT, DER SPIEGEL and EGMONT EHAPA.

Now different distribution services can be strongely and more effectively bundled in the face of shifting requirements in the markets.

DPV Deutscher Pressevertrieb belongs to Gruner + Jahr Germany, which is lead by Gruner + Jahr member of the board Dr. Bernd Buchholz.

As a full service provider DPV covers all aspects of Direct and PoS Marketing, Logistic as well as Import and Export of press products. The DPV sees itself as quality distributor for all titles.
