DPV Worldwide will Expand their Field Service in Austria and Switzerland

In order to implement the objectives of our publishing clients as well as the different requirements for the individual titles even better on the German-speaking foreign markets, two colleagues from DPV will each pay a monthly visit to the retail and the wholesale trade in Austria and Switzerland on behalf of DPV Worldwide in future. With this expansion of our services for our customers we hope to achieve a further strengthening of our title groups and publishers in the two strongest markets abroad – in accordance with the market position of DPV. For this purpose and in close cooperation Mr Berndt Lassen (DPV Worldwide) and Mr Heribert Vogt (DPV Services) will make use of their long-standing experience and competence as sales representatives.

Mr Berndt Lassen has been working for DPV Worldwide mainly in Austria, Switzerland and Italy for many years. He will mainly visit retailers and inform the wholesalers and the Hamburg office about all necessary activities. To complete his retail tours, he will discuss and revaluate his impressions with the wholesalers in Vienna, Salzburg, Basel or Milan/Bozen and implement the necessary distribution and adjustment measures.

Mr Heribert Vogt is working as sales representative for DPV Services and will mainly visit the press importers Mediaprint, Morawa, PGV and Valora for DPV Worldwide. He will implement adjustments as well as revisions of distribution networks and make adjustment analyses on the spot. He will of course also make spot checks at retailers which will be taken into account for his visits to the wholesale trade.
